diga.tech, powered by the Dubbo Chamber of Commerce, is announcing the first of six speakers on Friday 17 May at 10am from Aquawest, 41 Douglas Mawson Rd., Dubbo.

At the inaugural diga.tech, held in 2018, an incredible line-up of six technology speakers presented at the Dubbo Regional Theatre and Convention Centre. These speakers were from Microsoft; Amazon; Telstra; NBN; CBA and Xero.

The 2019 presenters will be just as impressive as the 2018 line-up with the first speaker set to be announced at a Media Function to be held from Aquawest in Dubbo.

Matt Wright, President of the Dubbo Chamber of Commerce, said, “Attendees were inspired and amazed by the speakers in 2018 and we intend to follow that up with another great range of speakers. The first announcement will be held on Friday and over the next six weeks we will reveal the full range of speakers.”

Michelle Hawkes from Aquawest is pleased that there is recognition of the importance of agriculture in a technology expo. “We are seeing the increasing importance of technology in our business and we need to adapt to the latest in technology to deliver the best possible result for our clients. New technology is being used every day with our pumps for farmers and general gardens and solar is of increasing importance,” continued Michelle.

The speaker is a globally recognised food systems innovation expert and the CEO of a global food and agriculture technology consulting firm. Matt Wright from the Chamber will make the announcement and provide more details of the first speaker at the event on Friday morning.
