EV Display at Amusu Theatre in Manildra on Sunday 25 October
All members of the public are invited to an EV display by DEVIOUS at the Amusu Theatre in Manildra this coming Sunday, 25 October. A range of electric vehicles will be on display with owners and drivers of those vehicles present to answer questions from the public.
The display starts at 12 midday on Sunday where a large variety of EVs will be on display, with models ranging from 2014 through to 2020, followed by the screening of the movie, ‘FORD v FERRARI’ which will be held at the Amusu Theatre from 1.30pm.
Founder of DEVIOUS (Dubbo Electric Vehicle Interest; Owners; Users and Supporters), Chris Dalitz, said, “There are many myths and misunderstandings surrounding the use of electric vehicles. Having owners and drivers present is a perfect opportunity to speak with people who use electric vehicles as part of their daily routines.”
DEVIOUS member, Mathew Dickerson, continued, “Contrary to popular belief, the disruption of EVs will occur in Australia including regional Australia. With the low running costs of an EV the cost-benefit of owning an EV improves as you increase annual kilometres driven.”
Manildra is located approximately 130km from Dubbo.
